那年，中越战争爆发了，延安歌舞团来到剧团，给我教了民族舞【血染的风采】【走西口】。
但是，没有女舞伴，只好培养吧，文化馆提供地方，提供有基础的女学员，由我给她们教基本的舞蹈功夫，身架，腿功，腰功，一一训练，一个星期以后，就和我上舞台表演。
表演的很成功，剧团的乐队给我们伴奏，那个年代，没有音乐伴奏带，没有音响设备，演出没有加班费，基本的吃饭问题，也要自己解决。记得有一天，给一群美女练完功后，我饿了，在去厕所的菜地边，捡到一只死了的麻雀，我用泥把它包住，放在取暖的炉子里，一会儿，泥干了，我把麻雀拿出来，剥掉泥巴，在大雪纷飞下，在美女的惊讶目光下，我把那只麻雀吃了，美女们问我，怎么样？我说，少了一点盐，要是有盐就好了！
我最后一次跳舞，是在宝鸡工人文化宫，代表麟游县表演，在舞台上，每一次的劈叉，每一次的跟头，每一次的亮相，都有掌声。就要高考了，我就要参加美院的高考了，却在这里跳起了民族舞！不可思议的 一幕。那次，我获得了优秀奖。
人的优秀，也许是在每个领域的优秀，人的表演，也许是在每个时刻的表演！人的光芒，一定会散发出来！
